There's this belief within yourself that comes with that kind of pursuit, and that's requires a certain level of grit I found inspiring.

Shooting sports is a lot of fun, under editorial assignment I am there for "Game Action" . When I am shooting freelance I am documenting views; translating energy. 

Action shows you what happen, but aura framed with intention, helps you feel the moment long after.

Veteran Entrepreneur & Visualist

I’m a 2x Combat Army Veteran, and somewhere after 21 years in the Army, I got curious about energy… and I’ve been down that rabbit hole ever since. That curiosity led me to study Complementary and Alternative Health and eventually build my wellness brand, Johari & Lou. I was the person stopping to look at the moon, paying attention to the way light hit a building, wondering why a walk outside could completely change my mood. Looking back, I was learning to frame energy before I ever thought about owning a camera.

Photography showed up during my sports mom era, and has been go ever since. I started framing my son and his teammates, volunteered to run media for a local high school basketball team, and it’s been go ever since, helping student-athletes create visuals. These days, you’ll usually catch me courtside or somewhere on a sideline, framing aura, connection, resilience, energy. Photography lets me pour back into my community and help local students.
